A teacher friend at school, Jennifer Branham, has started her own photography business so I had her to take Sawyer's four month photo and our Christmas card photo. I decided to just roll the three month into four months and get two things done at once. She did a great job! Here are a few samples:

Five Months Old....
Wow! Time has flown by. It is so hard for us to believe Sawyer is five months old. She is growing like a weed and discovering new things every day. It is so amazing to watch her grow.
Sawyer likes/does:
- can roll from tummy to back and from back to tummy
- loves her exersaucer
- can entertain herself
- cackle out loud
- say maaaaamaaaaa (according to Mimi and Daddy)
- eat cereal
- sleep through the night without nursing or taking a bottle
- go to bed while still awake and fall asleep on her own
- recognize familiar voices and faces
- loves her class at school and watching the other kids
- a very social little girl, she has to know what is going on
- very happy
- only gets upset when she is hungry or dirty
- loves Bella and Tater Tot
It is so fun to watch her grow. Next week we will be starting stage one food with her. We are going to begin with sweet potatoes. Pictures to come.
Happy Turkey Day!
I know this post is a little late, but things have been so crazy busy that I am just now getting around to blogging about Thanksgiving. Once again we went to the farm for Thanksgiving. We had the entire family up there, which was very nice. We didn't have to worry about trying to get to his family and my family all in the same day. We were all there together, including my grandparents. I took pictures earlier in the day of Sawyer, but failed to take my camera out the rest of the time.
Sawyer was able to meet her cousin, Evie, that was born on the same as her, just in Madrid, Spain. It was so fun to be able to have the little ones together. On second thought, I do have pictures, they are just on my mom's camera. Hopefully, I can update this post later with the cute pictures. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are so blessed to be able to spend it with family!

Four Months Old
We took Sawyer for her four month well baby checkup today. She did great! She now weighs 15lbs 13oz and is 24 inches long. She is in the 90% percentile for her weight and 75% percentile for her height.
The things I can do at four months:
- Hold my head up
- Sit in my Bumbo seat and eat my cereal
- roll over (from tummy to back and from back to tummy if I try hard enough)
- Laugh, giggle, and coo
- Reach for objects
- Hold onto objects
- Yank the fire out of Mommy's hair
- I LOVE bath time!!
Sawyer is a very happy baby. If something is wrong she is quick to let you know and will return to being happy baby as soon as you fix the problem.
Lately she hasn't been sleeping through the night very well and Dr. Farr told us that it is time we let her "cry it out." I told him I would try, so I will let you know how it goes. He said a baby her size should be sleeping 9-12 hours per night! Wow!!! Let's get this baby sleeping.
In about four weeks we will be starting her on Stage 1 baby food! Pictures to come!!
Look at me! I am four months old!!!

Happy Halloween!!!
Since before I even became pregnant I decided that when I had a baby, whether it be a boy or a girl I wanted to cut out a pumpkin and place the baby in it. So...this year my wish came true. Sawyer was just the right size and she did a great job posing for me!!!
So for Halloween I dressed her up as a lady bug and we went, or rather attempted to go trick or treating with the family. She did an excellent job posing for pictures, but didn't care too much for the darkness when it came time to go out and about.
Sawyer and her bestie, Taylor!
Our attempt to go Trick or Treating!
As you can see, she wasn't very happy!
We had lots of fun and have great memories of Sawyer's First Halloween!
Three Months
With starting back to work I am way behind with my blogging. So here is my attempt to catch up.
Sawyer has grown so much. She can now hold her head up so well, and can even roll from her stomach to her back. She doesn't do it all the time, but she does do it. She has now officially started daycare or as we call it, school, and is doing really well. She takes a 6oz bottle about every 3-4 hours. She was doing well and sleeping almost through the night, but now that we have moved her to her bed, she doesn't quite make it. She wakes around 2am and comes to bed with us and sleeps until about 4, then I feed her and she goes back to sleep (sometimes) for about an hour or so. She coos all the time and loves to smile. She is such a happy baby and sooooo much fun!

The Great Pumpkin Patch
I absolutely love this time of year! Now that Spencer and I have Sawyer, I just couldn't wait any longer to start taking her to fun festivities. Now, I know she isn't going to remember them, but I will have pictures and my blog book to prove it. So last weekend Spencer and I took Sawyer to The Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden. Over all we had a good time, but it was a little hot (not the nice cool fall weather I love so much), and it was definently geared more towards older children. But, we still had fun. Still sleepy when we arrived.
Sawyer after she toppled over. The only reason I am posting this picture is because one day I can look back and laugh, but at this moment I wanted to cry. She was fine though, just a little dirt on the face and up the nose :(
