Cassie's Big Catch

Apparently Cassie isn't into fishing, however she thought she would give it a try. Here is Cassie with her proud catch. I would also like to make a note that everyone on board of Captain Buster Brown's "Blue Goose" caught a fish that afternoon. I would also like to thank Russell for all of his help in mending broken lines and helping us get our lures out of the trees.

Creatures of Lake Roden

This is the turtle we chased down Lake Roden so I could take a picture. Hopefully, Bella, Buddy, and Buster Brown will not come into close contact with this creature. Trey sent me a link to Outdoor Alabama and I viewed the pictures of an alligator snapping turtle and they are not similar. However, I did find one that was. It is called an Ouchita Map Turtle. Memorial Weekend

So...Spencer and I had some friends up to the farm for Memorial Weekend. Needless to say while Betty and Sandy are away their sweet little son Spencer will play. Ever since Spencer bought the boat he has wanted to launch it in the pond behind his parent's house. Well, Sandy's response is always, "NO, SON!!!!!" But since they were out of town Sandy was not there to stop him and he launched it.
