We spent most of Easter weekend at the lake, but did head back early Sunday morning to go to church with my parents and then head over to Joycie's for lunch!

Relaxing at the lake...
So, if you don't already know, Spencer and I have a camper trailer set up on Lake Guntersville. It is about as close to a lake house as we are going to get for now. It is somewhat of a version of camping, I mean I have a bathroom and air conditioning. I really can't complain. We also have a pontoon boat, so we are ready to launch it for the season! Anyway....we spend most of our weekends from here on out at Lake Guntersville.
This past weekend we went up on Friday night and then hung out on Saturday. I had a great time dressing Sawyer up in different articles of clothing and taking her picture. I also painted her toenails! I had a blast! We are going to have so much fun together!
Putting her toes in the water for the first time! She loved it! She was clapping!
Cutest Baby Ever!
So, I entered Sawyer in Birmingham's Most Photogenic Baby contest. It is a fundraiser done by Children's Hospital to raise money for their Miracle Network. You go and have your child's picture made, look through all of the pictures, pick one, and then decide which category you would like to enter your child in. I chose precious and beautiful. The awards ceremony was about three weeks later. You can vote for 50 cents per vote, and then they also have judges come in. I wasn't able to raise a lot of money, not as many as some children, but I did raise about $250. And....of course I will always think Sawyer is the most beautiful and most precious :)

Happy Nine Months!!!
Sawyer is now nine months old! Really? Where did the time go? She is growing and changing so much every day. Spencer and I wake up every morning and think she has grown a foot. These are things she likes and can do at nine months old:
Sawyer likes/or can:
- pull herself up on the recliner, couch, and coffee table
- crawl all over the place
- babble, a lot
- eat three meals per day, we are still on stage two, but are slowly introducing her to table food. She has tried and liked black beans and pita bread.
- Sleeps pretty much all night in her bed, sometimes she comes and cuddles with Mommy and Daddy around 3am
- Wears size 4 diapers, she was blowing out all the 3's
- Wears mainly 12 month clothes, with the occasional 9 month or 18 month in there, depending on brand and style
- still loves her green paci
- wears size 3 shoes, when she wears shoes
- Goes every where she can in her walker
- Loves to take a bath or just be around water
I am thinking when I post about her at 10 months she is going to be walking! Crazy!
Ear Tubes: Round 2
So as you know from a previous post, Sawyer had to have her right ear tube replaced because it was clogged. She did a great job, and life went on as normal once we returned home! She was back on schedule and you can tell that she feels great! Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers!

~Super Sawyer~
Sawyer's first cousin, Henry, celebrated his fourth birthday yesterday at Homewood Park. The theme this year was Superhero! So of course I had to dress Sawyer up. This sweet lady I work with does all kinds of monogramming, appliqués, dresses, you name it. So I asked her if she could make Sawyer a "Super Sawyer" outfit. She found the Superman applique and did it in pink. The S doesn't stand for Superman, it stands for Sawyer, just to clarify :) She also made her an adorable little cape lined with cupcakes for the party. Check it out!
Loving the bouncy house!!! She had it to herself after everyone left!
Not Again....
Yes, again. Tomorrow morning we are headed back to the ENT to have Sawyer's right ear tube replaced. When we went back for her post-op visit both tubes were clogged. So for two weeks we tried to unclog them by doing three drops of white vinegar twice a day. We were able to successfully unclog the left ear, but no such luck with the right. So we went back to the ENT on Thursday, and the doctor tried to unclog it. This.was.not. fun.!!!! I had hold her down in a bear hold, while the nurse held her head and the doctor put drops in and tried to suction out the clog. POOR.BABY. It was terrible. He wasn't able to do it, so he said we could continue the vinegar drops or he could just replace it. I chose to replace it, because she is already congested, which leads to ear infections, which leads to a fever, and then a seizure???? I don't know. But I am not taking a chance. I just want my baby to be well and her ear tubes to be working properly.
We have had so much going on and I have not been able to blog, but my goal is to get back on track. I have a lot to share.....
