This is the turtle we chased down Lake Roden so I could take a picture. Hopefully, Bella, Buddy, and Buster Brown will not come into close contact with this creature. Trey sent me a link to Outdoor Alabama and I viewed the pictures of an alligator snapping turtle and they are not similar. However, I did find one that was. It is called an Ouchita Map Turtle. That thing was crazy big. I bet it'd take a finger off if someone tried to pet it. I still wonder what we would have done if we did catch it.
I don't plan on swim with Snappy Snapperson, that's for sure.
